How much digital marketing costs in Delhi: social media from ₹15,000, SEO from ₹18,000 and ads management from ₹20,000 a month

Digital marketing in Delhi costs ₹15,000 to ₹75,000 a month per service when you hire an agency that publishes its prices, plus your ad budget if you run ads, plus 18% GST. At MarketingPulse, social media management starts at ₹15,000 a month, SEO at ₹18,000 and Google or Meta ads management at ₹20,000, and a website starts at ₹45,000 one-time. A local business running one channel pays about ₹21,000 a month including GST. A B2B firm running SEO and Google Ads with a ₹50,000 ad budget pays about ₹1.24 lakh a month, all in.

Those numbers are our own published prices, which anyone can check, and the tax rules come from Google's own help pages. I have run marketing for ten years, for businesses from movers and car-rental firms to B2B manufacturers across Delhi NCR and beyond. Quotes in Delhi are hard to compare because one agency includes ad spend, another leaves out GST and a third bundles in a website you did not ask for.

Below you will find every plan we sell and what it includes, the four separate costs hiding inside most quotes, how much of a small ad budget goes on fees, three worked budgets for real kinds of Delhi business, and a way to set your own number before you speak to anyone.

The short answer, in one table

ServiceStarting planMost requested planTop plan
SEO₹18,000 a month₹35,000 a month₹75,000 a month
Social media marketing₹15,000 a month₹30,000 a month₹60,000 a month
Google Ads or Meta ads management₹20,000 a month₹40,000 a month₹75,000 a month
Content marketing₹18,000 a month₹35,000 a month₹65,000 a month
YouTube optimization₹15,000 a month₹30,000 a month₹50,000 a month
Website design and development₹45,000 one-time₹95,000 one-timeFrom ₹1,85,000

"Most requested" is the plan more clients pick than any other, and it is marked that way on each service page. Ads management covers your ad budget up to a limit: the ₹20,000 plan manages up to ₹1,00,000 of monthly spend on one platform, and the ₹40,000 plan manages up to ₹5,00,000 across Google and Meta.

The four costs on every digital marketing bill

Most confusion about price comes from quotes that mix up four different kinds of money. Separate them and any two quotes become comparable.

CostWho you payHow it is chargedExample
Agency feeThe agencyMonthly retainer, invoiced in advance₹18,000 a month for SEO
Ad spendGoogle or Meta, directlyWhatever budget you set, charged by the platform₹50,000 a month on Google Ads
One-time buildThe agencySplit into milestones₹45,000 for a five-page website
Third-party costsOther providersAs they bill youDomain and hosting renewals, paid tools, premium stock images

GST sits on top of the first three, and it is the part most quotes skip.

Two rules decide whether a quote is honest about these costs. First, your ad budget should go from your account straight to Google or Meta, with no percentage taken by the agency. Ours does, and we never mark it up. Second, every account should be registered in your name. If the agency owns your ad account or your domain, leaving them means starting again from zero.

What each service costs per month

Starting monthly fee by service at MarketingPulse (excluding GST)
  • Social media management₹15,000
  • YouTube optimization₹15,000
  • SEO₹18,000
  • Content marketing₹18,000
  • Google or Meta ads management₹20,000

Published starting plans. A website is priced separately as a one-time project from ₹45,000. Google Business Profile optimisation is included in the ₹18,000 SEO plan.

SEO from ₹18,000 a month. The starting plan covers up to 15 target keywords, on-page SEO for 10 pages, a monthly technical health check, two blog articles a month, local citation building and full Google Business Profile optimisation. For most single-location Delhi businesses, that is the whole local search job: the map pack, the website and the listings that feed both.

Social media from ₹15,000 a month. Two platforms, 12 designed posts and 4 reels a month, a content calendar you approve in advance, captions and a monthly report.

Google or Meta ads management from ₹20,000 a month. One platform, conversion tracking set up properly in GA4, the campaign build, ad copy and creative direction, and optimisation every two weeks. Your ad budget is on top and goes straight to the platform.

Content marketing from ₹18,000 a month. Four SEO articles of 1,200 words or more, with keyword research, on-page SEO, publishing and internal linking included.

YouTube from ₹15,000 a month. Channel setup and up to four videos a month optimised with keyword research, titles, descriptions, chapters and thumbnail direction.

A website from ₹45,000, once. Up to five pages with a custom mobile design, a CMS you can edit, WhatsApp integration, basic on-page SEO and 30 days of support after launch. You pay in milestones: a deposit to start, a payment at design approval and the balance at launch.

What changes when you pay more

Moving up a plan mostly buys the work around the deliverables. The social media plans show this clearly, because the price per post barely moves.

Social media planMonthly feePosts and short videosPrice per pieceWhat else the fee pays for
Starter₹15,00012 posts, 4 reels₹938Content calendar, captions, profile optimisation
Growth₹30,00020 posts, 10 reels₹1,000Daily community management, story funnels, paid amplification setup, a dedicated account manager
Premium₹60,00030+ posts, 16 videos₹1,304Full paid social campaigns, influencer collaborations, YouTube strategy

Content marketing works the same way. Our starter plan comes to ₹4,500 per article (₹18,000 for four) and the growth plan to ₹4,375 per article (₹35,000 for eight). The article price is nearly flat, and the extra money on the growth plan buys pillar pages, landing page copy, monthly refreshes and a dedicated strategist.

That gives you a useful test for any quote in Delhi. If an agency prices mostly by the number of posts or articles, ask what happens around them: who answers comments, who reads the numbers each month, and who changes the plan when something is not working. That work is what the difference between a ₹15,000 and a ₹30,000 retainer pays for.

How much of a small ad budget goes to the agency

A management fee is fixed, so the smaller your ad budget, the larger the share of your paid-ads money that goes to managing it rather than reaching customers.

Share of your total paid-ads money that goes to management
  • ₹15,000 ad spend (Launch plan)57.1%
  • ₹50,000 ad spend (Launch plan)28.6%
  • ₹1,00,000 ad spend (Launch plan)16.7%
  • ₹5,00,000 ad spend (Growth plan)7.4%

Calculated from our published fees: the ₹20,000 Launch plan manages up to ₹1,00,000 of monthly ad spend and the ₹40,000 Growth plan up to ₹5,00,000. GST left out so the shares compare like with like.

At ₹15,000 of ad spend, more than half of what you pay goes on management. At ₹1,00,000 it is about a sixth. If ₹15,000 is all you can put into ads, it is often better value to start with SEO and your Google Business Profile, which build up over time, and to add ads once the budget can carry the fee.

How much ad budget you need

Google and Meta optimise campaigns using conversions: calls, forms and WhatsApp chats that you track. Our working rule, published on our pricing page, is a budget large enough for roughly 30 conversions a month, because that is where the platforms start optimising reliably.

Minimum monthly ad budget for about 30 conversions, by cost per lead
  • ₹200 per lead₹6,000
  • ₹500 per lead₹15,000
  • ₹1,000 per lead₹30,000
  • ₹2,000 per lead₹60,000

Cost per lead multiplied by 30. Your own cost per lead depends on your industry, area and offer; legal, insurance and real estate usually cost more per lead in Delhi than local services do.

Most of our Google Ads and Meta ads clients start with ₹50,000 to ₹1,00,000 a month in ad spend, which gives campaigns room to gather data and still leaves a meaningful share of the money reaching customers.

Google Ads works from an average daily budget. Google's own documentation says a campaign can spend up to twice that amount on a given day, but over a month it will not charge more than 30.4 times the daily figure. So if you want to spend ₹30,400 in a month, set a daily budget of ₹1,000, not ₹1,014, and expect some days to spend more than others.

GST: the 18% most quotes leave out

Every price in this guide excludes GST, as do most quotes you will receive in Delhi, so the bill you pay is higher on both fees and ad spend.

  • Agency fees. GST at 18% applies to our fees, and our invoices are issued against your business details so you can claim input tax credit. A ₹18,000 SEO plan is ₹21,240 on the invoice.
  • Google Ads spend. Google's help page on taxes says advertisers in India are charged GST on Google Ads purchases, at 18% when billed by Google Asia Pacific. A ₹50,000 ad budget becomes ₹59,000.
  • Meta ads spend. Meta's Business Help Centre has a page on India's GST for ad invoicing, and 18% is the standard GST rate for advertising services. Check your own Meta invoices to see how it applies to your account.

If your business is registered for GST, you can usually claim this back as input tax credit, which reduces the real cost considerably. Confirm with your CA, because it depends on your registration and how the invoices are issued.

Three worked budgets for Delhi businesses

These are examples built from our published plans, not client case studies. The ad budgets are ones a business owner might reasonably choose. When clients combine services we quote a single retainer rather than adding the plans up, so a real quote for the second and third examples would come in lower.

A clinic in Saket that needs patients from Google. Most patients search for a doctor or treatment nearby and read reviews before booking, so the starter SEO plan with Google Business Profile optimisation covers the job.

ItemMonthlyWith 18% GST
Starter SEO plan₹18,000₹21,240
Total per month₹18,000₹21,240
First 12 months₹2,16,000₹2,54,880

If the clinic also needs a new website, add ₹45,000 once, or ₹53,100 with GST.

A clothing store in Lajpat Nagar that sells through Instagram and WhatsApp. Customers discover stock on Instagram and ask about it on WhatsApp, so the store runs social media plus Meta ads with click-to-WhatsApp, on an ad budget of ₹30,000 a month.

ItemMonthlyWith 18% GST
Starter social media plan₹15,000₹17,700
Launch ads management (Meta)₹20,000₹23,600
Meta ad spend, paid to Meta₹30,000₹35,400
Total per month₹65,000₹76,700
First 12 months₹7,80,000₹9,20,400

A B2B supplier in Okhla that needs enquiries now and rankings later. Buyers research suppliers for weeks, so the business runs Google Ads for immediate enquiries while the growth SEO plan builds rankings for product searches, with ₹50,000 a month in ad spend.

ItemMonthlyWith 18% GST
Growth SEO plan₹35,000₹41,300
Launch ads management (Google)₹20,000₹23,600
Google ad spend, paid to Google₹50,000₹59,000
Total per month₹1,05,000₹1,23,900
First 12 months₹12,60,000₹14,86,800
What the three example setups cost per month, including 18% GST
  • Clinic in Saket (SEO only)₹21,240
  • Store in Lajpat Nagar (social + Meta ads)₹76,700
  • Supplier in Okhla (SEO + Google Ads)₹1,23,900

Agency fees and ad spend combined. Combined engagements are quoted as a single retainer, so real quotes for the store and the supplier would be lower.

Those three range from ₹21,240 to ₹1,23,900 a month, which is why no single figure answers "how much does digital marketing cost in Delhi". The number depends far more on which channels your customers use than on the agency, so start with how people find you. The seven types of digital marketing guide sets out which channels suit which kinds of business.

Agency or in-house: what the same money buys

The other option is to hire someone. Glassdoor lists an average salary of ₹8,70,000 a year for a digital marketing manager in New Delhi, based on 917 salaries as of August 2026, with the middle half of salaries between ₹5,29,000 and ₹14,00,000. The average works out to about ₹72,500 a month before employer costs, software tools and any ad spend.

For a little less each month, ₹64,900 including GST, the Okhla supplier above gets growth-level SEO and a managed Google Ads account from specialists in each. What they do not get is someone in the office every day who knows the business inside out.

In-house tends to win when marketing is a daily job tied to the rest of the team, such as product launches and constant coordination with sales. An agency tends to win when you need several specialist skills that one hire rarely has, such as technical SEO, paid ads and design. Many growing Delhi businesses end up doing both, with one in-house coordinator and an agency for the specialist work.

Why some Delhi quotes are far cheaper, and what to check

Search for digital marketing packages and you will find offers from ₹1,000 a month. A ₹5,000 package works out to about ₹190 per working day on a six-day week, which does not pay for strategy, custom design or anyone reading your numbers. Cheap packages usually cover a fixed number of template posts and little else.

Whatever the price, these are the things worth checking in any quote:

What to checkWhy it mattersWhat we do
Is ad spend inside the package price? You cannot see how much reaches Google or MetaAd spend is paid by you, directly to the platform
Who owns the ad account, analytics and domain? If the agency does, leaving means losing everythingEverything is registered in your name
Is there a long lock-in?You keep paying when the work is not deliveringMonth to month; Google Ads has a three-month minimum
Are rankings guaranteed?Google itself says no one can guarantee a #1 rankingWe do not promise positions
Is there a setup fee?It is often an unexplained extraNo setup fees on any retainer
Is GST included in the quoted number? An 18% difference changes the comparisonOur prices exclude GST and say so

What the money bought for real clients

We do not publish what individual clients pay, but we do publish who they are and what we run for them, with a link to each website on our results page. A few examples from that page: for Shree Shyam Movers Group in Raipur, the locality searches customers type across Rawan, Naya Raipur, Mowa, Saddu and Ambikapur now rank in Google's top two positions. For iLED Solution, an LED display manufacturer, product-line keywords rank on Google's first page, most in the top five. For the S M Sehgal Foundation, the brand holds the top of Google for its name and ranks on page one for competitive agriculture terms.

If you want the numbers behind any of them, ask on a call and we will open the actual Search Console, analytics and ad dashboards with you.

Does it cost more in South Delhi, Noida or Gurugram?

Not with us. Our prices are the same across Delhi NCR, whether you are next to our office in Nawada or across the city. Most businesses in South Delhi, Noida and Gurugram work with us online, and the work itself happens on your website, your Business Profile and your ad accounts, so location changes the market we plan for rather than the price. Our digital marketing agency in Delhi NCR page has the office details and the questions worth asking any agency before you sign.

How to set your first budget in four steps

  • Step 1: work out what a customer is worth. Take your average order or booking value and multiply it by how often a customer comes back in a year. That tells you what a lead can cost and still be profitable.
  • Step 2: pick the channel that matches how customers find you. Searching for a service nearby points to SEO and your Business Profile. Buying on impulse from a photo points to Instagram and Meta ads. If you are unsure, the 3-3-3 rule is a simple way to choose and stay focused.
  • Step 3: if you run ads, budget for about 30 conversions a month. Multiply your expected cost per lead by 30 and treat that as the floor for ad spend.
  • Step 4: commit for long enough to judge it. Ads can bring enquiries within days of launch, but they need around three months to settle. SEO usually shows map-pack movement in 60 to 90 days and competitive first-page rankings in three to six months.

Frequently asked questions

How much does digital marketing cost per month in Delhi?

At an agency that publishes its prices, expect ₹15,000 to ₹75,000 a month per service, plus ad spend and 18% GST. MarketingPulse's starting plans are ₹15,000 for social media, ₹18,000 for SEO and ₹20,000 for Google or Meta ads management. A local business running one channel pays about ₹21,000 a month including GST.

Is GST charged on digital marketing services and on ad spend?

Yes. Agency fees carry 18% GST, and Google says advertisers in India are charged GST on Google Ads purchases, at 18% when billed by Google Asia Pacific. Meta also applies GST to ad invoices in India. GST-registered businesses can usually claim it back as input tax credit, so check with your CA.

What is the minimum budget for Google Ads in Delhi?

Google sets the budget per campaign as an average daily amount and does not require a large minimum. For campaigns that optimise reliably, budget for about 30 conversions a month: at ₹500 per lead that is about ₹15,000. Most of our ads clients start with ₹50,000 to ₹1,00,000 a month.

Does MarketingPulse charge a setup fee?

No. There are no setup fees on any retainer. The only extra costs are paid to third parties, such as your ad budget, domain and hosting renewals, or a paid tool you ask us to use, and we flag those before they are incurred.

Can I pay month to month?

Yes. Every retainer runs month to month. Google Ads has a three-month minimum because the first month is mostly the platform learning, and SEO and content need a fair runway because they build over time. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance and can be paid by bank transfer or UPI.

Is it cheaper to combine services?

Yes. When you combine services, such as SEO with content or ads with a new landing page, we quote a single retainer instead of adding the individual plans together, which comes to less than buying each one separately.

Should a small business hire an in-house marketer or an agency?

It depends on the work. Glassdoor puts the average digital marketing manager salary in New Delhi at ₹8.7 lakh a year. An in-house hire suits daily, cross-team marketing. An agency suits businesses that need several specialist skills, like SEO, paid ads and design, that one person rarely has.

Why do some agencies in Delhi charge only a few thousand rupees a month?

Low-price packages usually cover a fixed number of template posts with no strategy, reporting or ad management. Before comparing prices, check whether ad spend and GST are included, who owns your accounts, and whether you are locked into a long contract.

The short version

Budget for three things: an agency fee from ₹15,000 a month per service, an ad budget if you run ads, and 18% GST on both. A single-channel local business in Delhi pays about ₹21,000 a month all in, and a business running SEO and ads together with a ₹50,000 ad budget pays about ₹1.24 lakh. If your ad budget is small, the fee takes a large share of it, so start with SEO and your Google Business Profile and add ads when the budget can carry them.
